May 2025 Fashion Show

The May luncheon was the site of a fantastic fashion show presented by Twisted Sisters and our own fabulous models, Carolyn Glaza, Tracy Ervin, Claudia Fecho, Carol Newton, and Sherry Vaughan. The show was emceed by Kim Holwell, owner of Twisted Sisters, assisted by Molly McCall and Connie Rodante.  

    Derby Social

    The 2nd Quarter Social  was a Derby Social. The get together was held on Saturday, May 3rd. The event was a great success. It was attended by members and friends. A special thanks to the Special Event Committee members and the bartender extraordinaire Tom Bartlett. He prepared and served the Official Kentucky Derby drink – mint juleps (nonalcoholic of course). The $200 “purse” from the drawing was distributed to winners for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place.

      Soup-Per-Bowl Party

        

      The first Cooking Event for the ladies of Women of Nassau “WON”.

      It was a lovely day for 20 Women of Nassau to enjoy the first Cooking Class Event at the Amenity Center at Amelia Walk.

        6th Anniversary Celebration

          Moments with Women of Nassau

           WON field trip to St Peters Episcopal Church.  About 30 women participated in a docent led tour of the church which explained the history of the church, the meanings of each of its beautiful stained glass windows and the significance of its massive pipe organ, followed by a short concert by the organist.  Lunch was enjoyed at Amelia Island Brewery following the tour.
